Richard C. Haber

Richard C. Haber is a partner at the firm The Haber Legal Group, which has its offices located in Pepper Pike, Ohio. He focuses his practice on matters involving employment litigation, complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, employment agreements and compensation issues. He has been directly involved in cases with verdicts and settlements totaling more than $100 million.

Mr. Haber has presided over more than 80 jury trials, in which he has defended clients against claims of wrongful termination, fraud, theft of trade secrets, tortious interference with business relations, breach of noncompetition agreements and violations of state and federal laws governing the rights of contracting parties.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester, Mr. Haber attended Case Western Reserve University to pursue his legal education. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1990. He is licensed to practice in Ohio, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio. 

Mr. Haber is board-certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in employment law. He is regularly called upon to lecture at numerous legal associations’ including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the National Business Institute. 

Actively associated with the legal community, Mr. Haber holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Honored for his noteworthy legal services, he has been listed by Inside Business magazine as a Leading Lawyer. He has also received recognition from The Best Lawyers in America for 13 consecutive years.
