Jared T. Brankamp

With a commitment to getting injured clients fair compensation and holding the negligent accountable, Jared T. Brankamp is the managing Attorney at Burnside Brankamp Law. From his office in Portsmouth, Ohio, he ardently advocates for clients across Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky on cases related to:

Mr. Brankamp served in the United States Peace Corps in Paraguay following his graduation in 2012 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. While in Paraguay, he acquired Spanish- and Guaraní-speaking skills and found his true passion for pursuing justice for underdogs. He then went to the Capital University Law School and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2018.

During his time in law school, Mr. Brankamp received fellowships from the Family and Youth Law Center and Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. Furthermore, as part of his J.D. program, he extensively studied and taught constitutional law. He is an enthusiastic Moot Court Fellow who significantly contributed to the university’s Hispanic Law Team.

As a client-centered, aggressive and logical attorney, Mr. Brankamp spends considerable time listening to his clients’ side of the story and strategizes with their best interests in mind. Qualified to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Mr. Brankamp builds professional connections through organizations such as the Ohio Association for Justice, the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. He enjoys spending time in nature with his dog when he is not lawyering.
