Details
Angelyne E. Lisinski is the attorney behind Lisinski Firm in Powell, Ohio. She established her firm with a vision to help people from all walks of life make a new life for themselves in the U.S. and accomplish their other immigration-related objectives. She offers dynamic solutions to complicated Ohio immigration matters, including those involving deportation proceedings, employment, and family-based visas, green cards, permanent residency, asylum, and I-360 cases.Â
Being an attorney is not a job for her—it’s a way to right wrongs and stand up for the underdog. It’s a passion. It’s her calling. It’s her mission in life to be there for the less powerful. To aggressively fight against the powerful, while also being a compassionate counselor to guide her clients through an experience that can be scary and painful, especially without an attorney who cares deeply.Â
Ms. Lisinski attended The Ohio State University, where she majored in political science and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2009. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2012. She obtained her license to practice law in Ohio the same year. She served as a judicial clerk for Honorable Magistrate Judges Elizabeth Preston Deavers and Chelsey M. Vascura at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
While in law school, Ms. Lisinski was the managing editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law and a part of several mock trial teams and competitions. In addition to being among the top in her class and graduating summa cum laude, she excelled in legal writing, community service, and trial practice. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif and was a recipient of the Albert A. Levin Memorial Award, the Charles W. Kettlewell Professional Responsibility Award, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award.Â
Ms. Lisinski is a reliable member of several bar associations including the National Bar Association, International Bar Association, Ohio Women’s Bar Association, American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association. She also served as a board member of Dress for Success Columbus, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence.
