Timothy L. Van Eman

Tim Van Eman is the managing partner at Van Eman Law, LLC.   Tim has an extensive decades long career dedicated to championing the rights of individuals and families in Ohio. He represents those who have suffered injuries or death from auto accidents, medical malpractice, defective products and more. Recognized as a certified civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, he demonstrates his skills in fiercely defending his clients' rights.

Mr. Van Eman is steadfast in his commitment to upholding justice, and he has built a reputation as an unwavering advocate, particularly in complex legal matters in negligence, malpractice and insurance disputes. His hard work has established him as a respected, ethical and trusted presence within the legal community.

Mr. Van Eman has achieved numerous multimillion-dollar results for his clients. Beyond his role as a trial attorney, he excels as a mediator, handling a wide spectrum of cases, including personal injury, malpractice and business disputes. He is also an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Furthermore, he shares his extensive knowledge by lecturing at continuing legal education seminars on various personal injury topics.

A native of central Ohio, Mr. Van Eman earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio Dominican University and later obtained his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1981. Since joining William W. Lamkin the same year he graduated from law school, he has demonstrated unwavering dedication to his clients, diligently advocating on their behalf. Licensed in both Ohio (1981) and Michigan (1982), he is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Van Eman is a member of several legal organizations, including the Ohio Association for Justice and the Columbus Bar Association.
