Nicholas Schneckenburger

Nick focuses his practice on mostly probate litigation, estate planning, probate and trust administration, and real estate matters.

Nick primarily focuses on probate litigation, including will contests, beneficiary representation, trust disputes, and prosecuting and defending breaches of fiduciary duty claims. He has experience litigating these issues in probate courts in a variety of counties in Ohio, various appellate courts, and the Ohio Supreme Court.

He handles a variety of real estate matters for real estate investors, landlords, lenders, and small businesses.

Nick graduated from Kent State University at the age of 19 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and three minors. He also graduated cum laude and in the top third of his class from the University of Akron School of Law at the age of 22 with a certificate in dispute resolution and litigation. He was probably the youngest lawyer in the State of Ohio at the time. During law school, Nick was a law clerk at Maguire Legal Group and received hands on experience in court handling divorce cases through the domestic relations clinic at the Portage County Domestic Relations Court.

Nick is a Rootstown, Ohio native and is active in the Portage County community. He is on the board of trustees for the Rootstown Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the steering committee for Celebrate Portage, a non-profit organization in Portage County. He is an avid Cleveland sports fan and holds partial season tickets for the Cavs and RubberDucks.
