Sloan Elizabeth Thacker

Sloan Elizabeth Thacker is an attorney with The Lampe Law Office, LLC, which has its offices in West Chester, Ohio. Her practice areas include family and juvenile law. She approaches every case with empathy and patience, ensuring her clients feel heard and supported.

Ms. Thacker’s interest in becoming a lawyer began with her love of books. One of her childhood favorites, To Kill a Mockingbird, inspired her desire to pursue justice and advocacy. That passion carried her to the University of Notre Dame, where she completed the Great Books curriculum and earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in theatre and performance art. The program sharpened her analytical and writing skills, while theatre training gave her the confidence she now brings to litigation and courtroom advocacy.

Earning her Juris Doctor, Ms. Thacker graduated from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While in law school, she served as managing editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, coordinated moot court competitions, and contributed on the Dean’s Advisory Board. After earning her degree, she clerked for Judge Williams of the Hamilton County Juvenile Court. That experience gave her valuable perspective on family and juvenile matters, as well as insight into the decision-making process from the judicial side.

Ms. Thacker then moved into private practice, representing clients in divorce, custody disputes, adoptions and domestic violence protection orders. In 2024, she joined The Lampe Law Office, LLC, bringing with her a strong reputation for preparation, thoughtful strategy and compassionate client service.

Ms. Thacker is committed to helping families navigate difficult transitions. She emphasizes collaboration and settlement when possible, while also pursuing effective trial advocacy when necessary. Her goal is always to provide clarity, support and advocacy tailored to each client’s needs.
