  • In 2011, Emmanuel was able to successfully convince the Court to vacate two guilty pleas and convictions dating back to nineteen years (State of Ohio v. Cumberbatch, Franklin County Case Numbers 1992 CR B 007256/ 1992 CRB 7288).  In 2012, Emmanuel was able to have a felony guilty plea and conviction dating over eighteen years vacated in State of Ohio v. Phillips, Franklin County Case No. 94 CR 05 2782. Emmanuel also prevailed on appeal in Case No. 12 AP-240.   In 2015, Emmanuel successfully assisted a client to vacate two felony convictions two years after the convictions. He won both at the trial court level and the appellate level.
