Todd Zimmerman

A shareholder attorney at Rohrbacher Trimble & Zimmerman Co., LPA, Todd Zimmerman is an experienced attorney with over two and a half decades of experience. Currently working from the firm’s office in Toledo, Ohio, he focuses his practice on equally representing both insureds and insurance companies in a broad range of issues requiring litigation. He has extensive experience in handling insurance coverage disputes, arson, fraud, and first- and third-party liability.

Mr. Zimmerman’s commitment to excellence can be traced right back to his university days, where he graduated with distinction earning his Juris Doctor in 1997 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Before pursuing law, he obtained his B.S.B.A. in accounting from The Ohio State University in 1994. He passed bar exams for multiple states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Ohio, but decided to build his legal presence only in the state of Ohio.

Practicing law in the state since 1997, Mr. Zimmerman has tried numerous trials and has found success in various appellate matters. He has represented his clients before several courts in Ohio, including the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the Supreme Court of Ohio and the United States Supreme Court as well.

In 2022, Mr. Zimmerman was recognized by Columbus CEO magazine as one of the Best Lawyers for his work in the field of insurance litigation. His passion for fighting for justice has always pushed him to find innovative solutions, even in complex cases.

Apart from being a respected attorney, Mr. Zimmerman is also a published author, with several articles under his name. He is also regularly seen as a speaker or a panel member at conferences and conventions, sharing his insights and take on his field.
