Attorney Profile

The founder of The Robenalt Law Firm, Inc., Thomas D. Robenalt brings more than almost three decades of experience to his clients throughout northern Ohio. Located in the Cleveland suburb of Westlake, he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, assisting people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties in cases arising out of truck and vehicle crashes, medical malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, defective drugs and other products, and workplace injuries. Mr. Robenalt also has experience in cases involving nursing home abuse and neglect, and he assists policyholders whose claims have been denied in bad faith by their insurance companies. He has been able to obtain numerous favorable settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Robenalt attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and in 1988, he received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science and a minor in Japanese. His legal education came at the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1991. Mr. Robenalt's private practice career began in 1993, when he joined an insurance defense firm. This experience has enabled him to anticipate the types of tactics that defendants will often employ in personal injury cases. He moved to a plaintiff's law firm in 1997, where he was a partner until opening his current firm in 2014.

Mr. Robenalt is admitted to practice before all Ohio and Florida state courts, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Highly regarded by his peers, he has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. He is active in a variety of legal and community organizations.
