David Burrage

David Burrage is a founder of the Burrage Law Firm PLLC, located in Durant, Oklahoma. Focusing his practice primarily on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation, he represents clients throughout the state who have been harmed by another party's negligence in cases involving automobile and commercial truck accidents, nursing home abuse, traumatic brain injuries and paralysis. Mr. Burrage also has experience representing policy holders in insurance bad faith cases, and he handles property disputes and other real estate litigation.

Mr. Burrage is a native of Oklahoma. As an undergraduate, he attended The University of Oklahoma, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in international business in 1999. Remaining in Norman, Mr. Burrage enrolled at The University of Oklahoma College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2002. Admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma.

Active in his community and state, Mr. Burrage was appointed by two successive governors to the board of directors of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.  He also volunteers for numerous community activities and events, and serves as Chief Justice for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Constitutional Court. Mr. Burrage is actively involved in several professional organizations as well. He has served as an assistant bar examiner for The Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Mr. Burrage is a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, a federally recognized Native American Tribe.
