Upon graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, Mr. Tucker proceeded to law school. He earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1983. In the same year, he was admitted to practice law in Oklahoma. He is additionally admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit and multiple tribal courts.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Tucker provided a full-service family law practice, focusing on providing quality service in matters of dissolution, divorce, adoption, guardianship proceedings and estate planning. He believes in fostering strong relationships built on trust and open communication, ensuring that clients feel supported throughout their legal journeys. In addition to his legal practice, he is passionate about mentoring young attorneys and actively participates in community outreach programs, emphasizing the importance of legal education and access to justice for all.
Mr. Tucker has held several positions in the field of family law, including serving as chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section and chair of the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Family Law Attorney from the Oklahoma Bar Association and received the Earl Sneed Award for his continuing legal education contributions. Additionally, he has served on various committees, including Adoption, Military Law, Government Relations, International Law and Law Practice Management/Technology of the American Bar Association. Furthermore, he is a member of the National CASA/GAL Association for Children.
