Ms. Stender's journey began with her academic pursuits at Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in political science. During her studies, she gained invaluable experience working with the Tarrant County 17th District Court, the Tarrant County Civil Court and the Reagan Ranch Center with the Young America’s Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. These roles honed her analytical skills and deepened her understanding of the legal landscape.

In 2018, Ms. Stender relocated to Oklahoma to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Her dedication to her studies was matched by her role as a research assistant at the University of Oklahoma College of Law Library throughout her time there. Graduating in 2021, she successfully passed the bar exam and was admitted to practice law in Oklahoma that same year.

Ms. Stender's early career saw her working at a dynamic firm concentrating on criminal defense, family law and divorce, where she handled cases across the state. This experience laid the groundwork for her decision, alongside her partner, to establish the Chapman & Stender Law Group in early 2025. As a member of the Family Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, she focuses on divorce, paternity, guardianships, child custody and child support issues.

A true consummate professional, Ms. Stender’s personal experiences, having grown up with divorced parents, imbue her work with a unique compassion and empathy. This personal insight allows her to connect deeply with her clients, understanding their struggles and advocating fiercely on their behalf. Since 2024, she has also served as an executive board member of the Cleveland County Bar Association, further demonstrating her commitment to the legal community and her leadership within it.
