Daniel V. Carsey is an attorney and shareholder at the law firm of Hall Estill in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Carsey concentrates his practice on business litigation in industries including banking, bankruptcy, commercial finance services, restructuring, creditors’ rights, and energy and natural resources. He has over a decade of experience serving clients throughout Oklahoma.
Over his career, Mr. Carsey has received honors and awards for his legal accomplishments. The Journal Record included him on its “Achievers Under 40” list, and in 2020, 405 Magazine named him an “Oklahoma Top Commercial Litigation Attorney.” He is licensed to practice law before all Oklahoma and Texas state courts, several federal and bankruptcy courts in both states, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
A respected member of his legal community, Mr. Carsey serves on the Oklahoma County Bar Association’s Fee Grievance & Ethics Committee and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Bench and Bar Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association. Involved in his local community, he is president of the Board of Trustees for Mount St. Mary Catholic High School and a member of the Thunder Networking Group.
Mr. Carsey graduated cum laude from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas, in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He went on to graduate with the highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2005. While attending law school, he was editor-in-chief of the Tulsa Law Review and chair of the Order of the Curule. His prior legal experience includes practicing at various private firms and serving as a federal judicial clerk.
