After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in business from The University of Oklahoma in 2001, Mr. Blau attended The University of Oklahoma College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2005. In the same year, he was granted a license to practice in Oklahoma and later admitted to the U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Blau commenced his legal profession at the Oklahoma County Public Defender's Office, wherein he witnessed firsthand the catastrophic impacts of drug addiction and mental illness on his clientele. Later, he transitioned to the definitive domain of the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office, where he skillfully adjudicated all categories of felony charges, even encompassing first-degree murder.

Furthermore, Mr. Blau amicably functioned as the principal prosecutor of the drug court and mental health court of Oklahoma County, guiding Oklahomans on their expedition to conquer the impediments that increasingly drew them toward the criminal justice system. In addition to his legal pursuits, he is affiliated with organizations such as the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association and The National College for DUI Defense.

Mr. Blau holds a lifelong membership with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a barrister in The William J. Holloway American Inn of Court.
