Kate C. White is an attorney at White & Weddle, P.C., in Oklahoma City, and she represents clients throughout the state in a variety of matters. A significant portion of Ms. White’s practice involves representing teachers who have enrolled in the Personal Legal Services Program that is made available to members of the Oklahoma Education Association. Her work in this regard has included the preparation of wills, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents; defending them against misdemeanor criminal charges; family law concerns such as uncontested divorces, stepparent adoptions, and order modifications and enforcement; and disputes with bill collectors.
Ms. White’s experience has also encompassed personal injury and wrongful death litigation. In this practice area, she serves those who have been harmed as the result of the negligence of other parties, and her cases have included motor vehicle crashes, nursing home abuse, defective products, and premises liability. Ms. White has been able to obtain significant compensation for the losses that her clients have incurred, both through jury verdicts and through settlements that she has negotiated with defendants and their liability insurance providers.
Ms. White is a graduate of Northeastern State University and the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Her professional affiliations include the Oklahoma Association for Justice and the Oklahoma County Bar Association.
