Madison Botizan

Madison A. Botizan is a litigation associate at Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson, and Lee's Oklahoma City office. Ms. Botizan focuses her practice on construction and utilities litigation, representing companies and municipalities across Oklahoma. Ms. Botizan's litigation and trial advocacy skills have made her the go-to defense attorney for municipalities and their contractors facing utilities lawsuits. She also handles insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, business litigation, personal injury, and premises liability. 

Prior to her time at GPNL, Ms. Botizan was an associate at a plaintiff's firm, where she represented policyholders in insurance bad faith suits and victims of personal injuries. 

She is licensed in all state and federal courts in Oklahoma, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Ms. Botizan is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association's Women In Law Section, serving as the 2025 Chair-Elect and 2026 Chair. She is also a member of the Oklahoma High School Mock Trial Committee and has served as a coach for a local high school's team for the past four years. Ms. Botizan is also involved with the Oklahoma County Bar Association and is the proud winner of its 2025 Chili Cook-Off in the Traditional category.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Ms. Botizan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and her law degree from Oklahoma City University. While in law school, she developed a passion for trial advocacy through her award-winning participation on the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Team.
