Monty L. Cain

Monty L. Cain is the owner and managing attorney at Cain Law in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Cain focuses his practice on personal injury law, representing clients in matters involving traumatic brain injuries, truck accidents, car accidents, product liability.  Cain Law also handles Bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, Family Law, Probates and Criminal Law.  He serves clients throughout the state of Oklahoma and states across the United States.

Mr. Cain has more than 29 years of experience and provides personalized and dedicated representation to injured victims. Over his career, he has recovered over 100 million in successful verdicts and settlements for his clients. Additionally, he has successfully won appeals that changed laws to help people injured accidents. His appellate win in Fox v. Mize and Van Eaton Ready Mix allowed victims injured in commercial motor vehicle crashes to pursue direct actions against the commercial motor carriers for negligent entrustment of a semi to incompetent semi driver.  This law holds unsafe commercial motor carriers accountable for damages caused by their actions and makes Oklahoma roads safer. He is passionate about helping Oklahoma residents who have been injured or lost a loved one due to a catastrophic injury receive just and maximum compensation.

Active in his legal community, Mr. Cain belongs to the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, National Trial Lawyers Association, Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, and the American Bar Association. His success has resulted in recognition from the National Trial Lawyers, who selected his name among the top trial lawyers in truck, car and brain injury litigation.  Mr. Cain also speaks at Continuing Legal Education seminars educating fellow lawyers in Brian Injury and Trucking Litigation.  In addition, Mr. Cain regular donates and volunteers time to organizations that help the homeless in Oklahoma.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Mr. Cain earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum land management from the University of Oklahoma. He received his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law where he excelled academically earning Am Jur Award and admission to the Phi Delta Phi law fraternity.  Mr. Cain has continued his legal education by attending national conferences with a focus on Brain Injury and Truck Accident litigation and improving Trial Skills.

Following law school, Mr. Cain developed his legal skills by working for a private Oklahoma based firm. He founded Cain Law in 2011. He holds an active law license before all Oklahoma state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District, Eastern and Northern of Oklahoma and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
