Philip O. Watts

A veteran attorney with over four decades of experience, Philip O. Watts enjoys helping his clients overcome their legal challenges with grace and poise, never dipping his top-quality advocacy in any aspect of their cases. At the law firm of Watts and Watts, PC, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he has handled myriad legal issues, ranging from business law and appellate law to all manners of civil litigation – for both the plaintiffs’ and defense’s side. 

Mr. Watts made his first foray into the legal field through his enrollment at The University of Oklahoma College of Law, and during his time there, he strengthened his legal acumen and expanded his legal knowledge, which led him to be awarded the winner of the National Appellate Advocacy Program. After receiving his Juris Doctor, he became licensed to practice law in Oklahoma in 1984, and later, he gained admission to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. 

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Watts has tested his mettle on numerous occasions, and with his experience, he routinely takes on matters of maximal complexity with relative ease. For his many contributions to raising the bar of client care within his legal community to even greater heights, he has been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating, for 25 years. He is also admitted to practice pro hac vice in Texas, North Carolina, Kansas, Michigan and Florida.
