R. Scott Adams

R. Scott Adams created Adams & Associates, P.C., with two goals in mind. He wanted to prove his clients' innocence and help previously convicted persons clear their names. To this end, he has dedicated his practice to covering all areas of criminal and appellate law. Drunk driving, assault, theft and drug violations are just some of the many cases he handles in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In 1986, Mr. Adams graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor's in business administration. Then, three years later, he completed his law degree. He became admitted to practice in Oklahoma that same year. He has since been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma; the United States District Court; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

During his long career, Mr. Adams has made frequent appearances on local news channels as the attorney responsible for his clients walking free. He has also been called upon by news agencies to share his expert opinion on criminal cases. In 2016, he received the Annual Barry
Albert Award for Excellence in Advocacy. He also received the Robert A. Manchester III 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Outside of work, Mr. Adams enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys exploring the great state of Oklahoma.
