C. Michael Copeland

C. Michael Copeland joined Jones Gotcher Attorneys and Counselors in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1988 and has been a partner since 1995. He is a proud member of a legal team of professionals who dedicated their careers to defending victims and negotiating complex civil litigation cases. He primarily handles cases related to civil litigation defense, personal injury product liability, and business litigation in the Tulsa area. Some of his most complex cases have involved securities litigation, intellectual property disputes and class action suits.

After first receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance, Mr. Copeland earned his law degree at the University of Oklahoma School of Law, graduating with honors in 1988. Since then, he has been admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Stone is a member of the Tulsa County, Oklahoma and American bar associations. He is also a prior member of the Oklahoma Law Review. Over the past several decades, his hard work has earned him recognition among his peers in Oklahoma. In fact, he was once the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Federal Securities Regulation.

His service to commercial clients in Oklahoma has helped business owners keep their doors open and grow their companies. When not hard at work, Mr. Stone enjoys spending time with his family.
