An attorney with Jones Gotcher Attorneys & Counselors since 1984, Thomas L. Vogt has been a partner at the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based firm since 1989. His varied practice includes complex commercial litigation, the representation of creditors in proceedings arising under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, labor and employment matters, real estate disputes and transactions, and education law. Mr. Vogt represents individuals and businesses throughout the Tulsa area, including a local community college, a major oil and gas refinery, and commercial real estate owners and developers.
Mr. Vogt attended the University of Oklahoma as an undergraduate, receiving a bachelor of business administration in accounting with distinction in 1981. He pursued his legal studies at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor with highest honors in 1984. At his graduation, he was named a member of the Order of the Coif. Admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts, Mr. Vogt is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Held in high regard by his fellow attorneys, Mr. Vogt has received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
A member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, Mr. Vogt is also an active participant in the Tulsa Bar Association. His other professional memberships include the Section of Labor and Employment Law and the Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law of the American Bar Association. Active in his community as well, Mr. Vogt is a life member of the board of directors of Tulsa Boys’ Home.
