Rosalind M. Lee

Rosalind M. Lee is the founder of the law firm, Rosalind Manson Lee, Criminal Defense Lawyer, in Eugene, Oregon. She represents clients all over the state of Oregon, helping them with legal matters involving:

·       Federal criminal cases

·       DUI

·       Drug offenses

·       Homicide

·       Domestic violence

·       Property crimes

·       Sex crimes

·       Title IX defense in education

After completing her B.A. with a double major in mathematics and philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Ms. Lee went on to work as an analyst at an economic consulting firm. She then decided to study law and earned her law degree cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 1996. The following year, she was admitted to practice in California and in 2005, she gained her license to practice in Oregon. 

Ms. Lee’s other bar admissions include the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California. She also has pro hac vice admissions at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. She holds a “Very Good” rating on Avvo, and she has been honored with the President's award by the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

During law school, Ms. Lee was an excellent student earning many honors, including the Earl H. Davis Award for advocacy students and the Goler Teal Butcher Award for excellence in writing. She was also the recipient of the Dean’s award for Constitutional Law II, Federal Criminal Law and International Law of Human Rights. She began her legal career as a research attorney in the Death Penalty Litigation Unit of the San Francisco Public Defender’s office.

Maintaining an active presence in the criminal defense community, Ms. Lee is a member of the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, the Federal Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the Lane County Bar Association, the Marion County Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is also the Chair of the Amicus Committee of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the President of the Board of the Lane County Defense Consortium. Moreover, serves as a pro tem judge at the Lane County Circuit Court.
