Heather E. Harriman is an attorney at Harriman Law with almost 25 years of experience under her belt. She predominantly assists residents throughout Oregon and Washington with their legal issues. With a strong focus on business litigation, she takes on a broad array of cases, including, but not limited to:

Ms. Harriman has substantial experience representing both defendants and plaintiffs. Her diverse clientele ranges from businesses to individuals dealing with internal business disputes, contract negotiations and drafting, breach of contract claims and business fraud. Moreover, she has handled cases involving trademark/patent infringement, employment disputes, commercial evictions, collections, tax controversies, bankruptcy, debtor-creditor law and buyouts.
Ms. Harriman is not afraid to consult other professionals, such as accountants, business and tax advisers, appraisers, and brokers, to help her clients navigate their cases better. While her primary focus is litigation, she has acquired a considerably diverse skillset owing to her experience dealing with cases of mediation, arbitrations and out-of-court negotiations. Her clients appreciate her services for her compassionate outlook and judicious legal counsel.
Completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon in 1996, Ms. Harriman went on to pursue her Juris Doctor degree at Western New England University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1999. While at law school, she served on the editorial team for the Western New England Law Review through her roles as the former secretary and notes editor.
Ms. Harriman is an active member of the legal community in Oregon, upholding memberships with prestigious organizations such as the Oregon State Bar (Executive Committee of Business Litigation Section) and the Multnomah Bar Association. Passionate about giving back to the community, she also volunteers as a coach for high school students by mentoring them about constitutional principles through the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution program.
