Kelsey M. Peddie

At the Portland, Oregon, law firm Chenoweth Law Group LLC, Kelsey M. Peddie serves her clients with diligent representation and an enthusiastic approach, handling litigation in matters pertaining to the legal areas of employment, business, construction, environment and personal injury. She serves her clients with diligent representation and an enthusiastic approach, resolving matters before litigation where appropriate and taking cases through trial or arbitration when its in the best interest of her clients.  

In her years at the firm, Kelsey has successfully handled a number of disputes, including obtaining summary judgment in favor of her client in defense of a breach of a noncompetition and non-solicitation agreement, obtaining a unanimous jury verdict in a financial elder abuse trial, and substantially limiting her client's exposure in a weeklong construction contract arbitration.  

Ms. Peddie is a 2014 B.A. graduate in journalism with a minor in political science from the University of Oregon, where she was on the executive board of the Associated Students of the University of Oregon. A year later, she enrolled at the Lewis & Clark Law School and received her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2018. 

Obtaining her license to practice in Oregon in 2018, Ms. Peddie has always strived to work harder than anyone else to provide a wide advantage to her clients. She is meticulous in her research and articulate in her arguments, oftentimes striking up an equal balance of aggressive defense and determined advocacy. She holds memberships in the Multnomah Bar Association and the Oregon Women Lawyers.
