Joshua V. Callahan

The founder of the firm Joshua V. Callahan Attorney at Law in Lake Oswego, Oregon, attorney Joshua V. Callahan represents the rights, interests and entitlements of a diverse range of clients throughout the greater Portland metro region in a wide scope of cases encompassing:

• Injuries and deaths from car, truck and motorcycle accidents
• Medical malpractice
• Nursing home negligence and abuse of helpless adults

During his eight-year tenure in the U.S. Army, Mr. Callahan fulfilled the role of a military police officer, undertaking a multitude of combat and domestic missions both domestically and internationally. As an enlisted servicemember, he learned the value of hard work, dedication, service and commitment — all virtues that serve him well as he advocates on behalf of his plaintiff clients to help them achieve the justice they deserve during their darkest hour.

A native of Southeast Portland, Mr. Callahan – after returning home to complete his formal education – established his own trial support firm, where he gained invaluable insight assisting some of the region's top trial attorneys in trial. It was this experience that spurred his interests in becoming a trial lawyer, and he has taken the lessons he learned into his own practice in order to provide the highest level of advocacy and support possible to those he serves.

A cum laude graduate of Portland State University, Mr. Callahan completed his Bachelor of Arts in criminology and criminal justice in 2005 and later obtained his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2009. He is an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the American Legion and the Multnomah Bar Association, among his other professional affiliations.
