Annelisa D. Smith

Annelisa D. Smith is an attorney at McKean Smith, LLC, in Portland, Oregon. Ms. Smith practices family law and serves clients in Hillsboro and Portland, Oregon, as well as in Moses Lake and Vancouver, Washington. She has experience with divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, international family law matters, LGBT family law, parenting plans, relocation, third-party custody and more.

A native of the Portland area, Ms. Smith has been admitted to practice law since 2006 and is licensed in Oregon and Washington. She is experienced with both litigation and collaborative divorce methods.

Ms. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and earned her law degree from Vermont Law School. Her prior legal experience includes working in the area of public defense handling cases involving child abuse, neglect and termination of parental rights.

Outside of the office, Ms. Smith enjoys staying active in her legal and professional communities by serving on the boards of nonprofit organizations such as the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners. She has served on the advisory committee of the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law and is secretary of the board of BRAVO Youth Orchestras.

Ms. Smith volunteers and provides pro bono representation when possible. She volunteers with Legal Aid Services of Oregon and the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association. She is a member of the Multnomah Bar Association, the Oregon State Bar, Oregon Women Lawyers, the American Bar Association and The Gus J. Solomon American Inn of Court.
