Anthony D. Kuchulis

Anthony D. Kuchulis is a Portland, Oregon management-side employment attorney and litigator who represents employers in complex workplace disputes and provides practical employment-law advice to executives, human-resources leaders, and in-house counsel. A partner at Dunn Carney LLP, his practice centers on employment litigation defense and employer counseling in matters arising under Oregon, Washington, and federal law.

Mr. Kuchulis defends businesses in state and federal court, arbitration, administrative proceedings, and appeals. His employment practice includes disputes involving discrimination, disability accommodation, retaliation, protected leave, wage-and-hour requirements, workplace harassment, wrongful discharge, and related contract and business claims. He also advises employers before litigation begins, helping them evaluate risk, respond to employee complaints, conduct or manage workplace investigations, address performance and discipline issues, and make difficult personnel decisions.

He approaches each matter as both a trial lawyer and a business adviser. His service has included membership on the Oregon State Bar Uniform Civil Jury Instructions Committee, work with the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, and service on the Oregon New Lawyers Division Executive Committee. He earned his J.D. with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School and his B.A. from the University of Oregon. He is admitted in Oregon and Washington, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
