Details
Drawing from more than 22 years of experience, Jason Posner provides representation for his clientele in the fields of personal injury and business law in the Portland and Beaverton metro regions. He strives to timely address his clients' questions and concerns, and he serves each client with empathy, thoughtful advice, updated information, and practical recommendations in order to bring clients to a satisfactory resolution of their issues and claims.Â
Mr. Posner has handled a wide variety of severe injury cases, including those that involve dislocations and fractures, ligament and tendon ruptures, brain injuries, lacerations, emotional trauma, and wounds to the internal organs. Often, these injuries require surgical intervention and long-term rehabilitation. In each case, Mr. Posner endeavors to consider the psychological, physical, and financial toll these injuries place on his clients. Â
As for his business law clients, Mr. Posner delves into the intricacies of their issues in order to guide them through their needs, whether that concern contract drafting and review, leasing and licensing agreements, corporate documentation, business incorporation, shareholder agreements, sales contracts, and asset purchases. He is peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and holds a 9.7/10 rating on Avvo -- apart from the several five-star ratings and positive testimonials on these platforms.
Raised in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Mr. Posner attended law school at the University of Oregon. After graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1998, he obtained his Oregon license to practice the same year and his Washington license to practice in 2000. He served at the Lane County Circuit Court for about a year and went on to work at small, private firms before establishing Posner Law Firm, LLC, in 2007. He lives in Portland, OR, and enjoys trout fishing, running, occasional hiking and camping trips (especially in the Mt. Hood National Forest), and science fiction books.Â
Mr. Posner is a longstanding member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the Multnomah Bar Association.

- "I was injured in a car accident a couple of years ago-rear-ended by two other vehicles. Jason was an invaluable help in assisting me to work through the pain, doctor's records and the insurance claim. Jason is honest, trustworthy, and my father Frank Homer Pozzi, would not have done a better job of representing me." Tamara Pozzi, Beaverton, OR (Daughter of deceased Oregon Trial Attorney Frank Pozzi). "For many clients the legal process can be quite confusing. Jason Posner is a Lawyer who take the time necessary to explain the ins and outs of every case. I have been fortunate to know Jason since 2009. Jason respects his clients and provides good detailed explanations while zealously representing his clients' interests. I think highly of Jason Posner and routinely refer cases to him because I know the people I send his way will be treated with dignity and respect." (2016) Greg Zeuthen, Portland OR (Treasurer of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association). "Jason was my law clerk when I was still active on the bench in Lane County. His scholarship and attention to detail were outstanding. I must admire his compassion and friendliness towards staff and members of the public, I predicted Jason would be an outstanding lawyer, and I am pleased the prediction has come true. I have had the pleasure of referring friends in need to Jason, and he has done a great job" (2012) Lyle C. Velure (Retired Lane County Circuit Court Judge), 2012
