Jeff Young

Jeff Young represents medical malpractice victims across Oregon and Washington. He brings nearly two decades of complex litigation experience to every case, offering a rare advantage: the strategic insight of a seasoned defense insider combined with the fierce commitment of a plaintiff’s advocate. Before dedicating his practice exclusively to injured individuals and families, Jeff spent 15 years defending hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies in the Pacific Northwest's most complex malpractice actions, earning a reputation as one of the region’s most respected defense trial attorneys.   Today, Jeff handles high-stakes, technically demanding cases involving surgical errors, misdiagnoses, birth injuries, and catastrophic harm. Known for meticulous preparation, he immerses himself in the medical science underlying each case to outmaneuver sophisticated defense teams.   Jeff's courtroom mastery is backed by deep institutional leadership. He has served as Chairperson of the Oregon State Bar Uniform Civil Jury Instructions Committee, completed a four-year term on the Council on Court Procedures, and served on the OSB House of Delegates. A native Oregonian and "Double Duck," Jeff earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Oregon.
