Kelsey M. Peddie

At the Portland, Oregon, law firm Chenoweth Law Group, P.C., Kelsey M. Peddie serves her clients with diligent representation and an enthusiastic approach, handling litigation in matters pertaining to the legal areas of employment, business, construction, environment and personal injury. On top of her clients’ pressing legal problems, she regularly takes on pro bono cases as a volunteer of the American Civil Liberties Union in Oregon. She is proficient in Spanish, ensuring no loss of communication with her Spanish-speaking clients.

Ms. Peddie is a 2014 B.A. graduate in journalism with a minor in political science from the University of Oregon, where she was on the executive board of the Associated Students of the University of Oregon. A year later, she enrolled at the Lewis & Clark Law School and received her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2018. 

While pursuing her law degree, Ms. Peddie took part in many important activities to bolster her legal acumen. She was part of the renowned Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review. Moreover, she served as an events coordinator and was part of the Business Law Society. She also gained experience as a summer intern at the Northwest Workers’ Justice Project, preparing documents on all aspects of employment and labor litigation such as demand letters, complaints and discovery requests.

Obtaining her license to practice in Oregon in 2018, Ms. Peddie has always strived to work harder than anyone else to provide a wide advantage to her clients. She is meticulous in her research and articulate in her arguments, oftentimes striking up an equal balance of aggressive defense and determined advocacy. She holds memberships in the Multnomah Bar Association and the Oregon Women Lawyers.
