Mr. Kantor graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he distinguished himself by serving on the Ninth Circuit Review and as an associate editor for the Environmental Law Review. He holds the unique distinction of being the first person to compete twice for the law school's Regional Trial Team. Prior to joining his current firm, he gained valuable experience as a certified law clerk at a private firm and as a federal judicial extern to the Honorable Marco A. Hernández. He also contributed to the Oregon Department of Justice in the Child Advocacy Section.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Kantor is an adjunct professor at the University of Portland, guiding the mock trial program to success and earning the title of “Faculty of the Year” in 2022. His leadership extends to his role as vice president of the board of directors for the Oregon Consumer League and as the Governance Committee chair for the Sexual Assault Resource Center of Oregon. He is dedicated to mentoring aspiring lawyers and actively participates in judging and coaching mock trials across various levels.
Mr. Kantor is a member of several professional organizations, including the Multnomah Bar Association, the Oregon State Bar, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the Oregon Hispanic Bar Association. His contributions to the legal community are further highlighted by his involvement with the Multnomah Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section Membership Committee.
