Mr. Harder earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Portland State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive legal experience in various fields. In business and real estate, he has represented clients in matters involving domestic relations, real estate and bankruptcy. He has advised individuals and small businesses on lease and contract disputes, reviewed and drafted contracts and commercial leases, and managed collection actions including garnishment, execution, and foreclosure.

Mr. Harder has handled various civil actions, including trials and arbitration in state and federal court, addressing issues related to tort liability, contract disputes, real property transactions, land use and bankruptcy. In the realm of debtor-creditor rights, he has assisted clients with debt collection issues, including litigation and judgment collection, managed garnishment, execution, and foreclosure sales, and provided credit clean-up services and bankruptcy representation. He has also represented clients in Oregon state court for violations of the Oregon Unfair Debt Collections Practices Act, Federal Unfair Debt Collections Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and similar statutes.

In domestic relations, Mr. Harder has advocated for clients in matters of restraining orders, child custody, parenting time, and child support, including modifications. He has helped clients navigate both simple and high-asset dissolutions and legal separations, negotiated and litigated spousal support, property, asset, and debt division.
