F. Peter Lehr

F. Peter Lehr is an attorney at Norris McLaughlin, P.A., located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he advises clients on a wide range of legal matters involving real estate, finance, land use and zoning, health care law, banking and financial services, municipal law, and regulatory compliance. His practice encompasses representation of health care providers, hospitals and health networks, as well as businesses and organizations navigating complex transactional and operational issues.

Mr. Lehr has developed significant experience assisting clients with transactions and regulatory matters in the highly regulated health care industry. He counsels organizations on compliance with federal and state laws governing health care operations, privacy and reimbursement. His work includes advising clients on issues arising under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Stark Law and its accompanying Phase I-III regulations, the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and applicable safe harbor provisions, and the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA).

That same year, he was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. He is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Lehr maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the American Health Lawyers Association, the Bar Association of Lehigh County and the Northampton County Bar Association.
