J. Wesley Kocsis is an attorney and the owner of the Kocsis Law Office PC located in Athens, Pennsylvania. A persistent and dedicated attorney for the rights of his clients, he focuses his practice on general law with a special focus on personal injury, family law and real estate transaction matters.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and law from Lafayette College, Mr. Kocsis earned his Juris Doctor from the Widener University Commonwealth Law School. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of New York.

Actively involved in the legal community and a firm believer in giving back to society, Mr. Kocsis is a member of the board and the child safety coordinator for the girls’ softball team that he sponsors, the Valley ASA Softball. He also serves as a coach for the softball team at Harlan Rowe Middle School and is the vice president of the school’s Science Olympiad Booster club, for which he also serves as the team photographer.
Additionally, Mr. Kocsis loves to spend his time volunteering at animal shelters. He serves on a local bank’s advisory board and is a PADI-certified SCUBA diver and an Eagle Scout.
