Matthew McCune

Matthew McCune is a member of Conlon Tarker, P.C., located in Butler, Pennsylvania. Providing representation to clients in Butler County and throughout the state, he focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation, handling a wide variety of cases in which his clients have suffered harm due to the negligence of other parties. Mr. McCune has experience in cases involving dog and other animal bites, construction site accidents, dram shop liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, defective products, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents and similar matters.

Mr. McCune was born and raised in Butler. As an undergraduate, he attended Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where he majored in political science and received a Bachelor of Arts in 2008. Mr. McCune was a member of the school's varsity baseball team in each of his four years there. Remaining in the state, he pursued his legal education at the Duquesne University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2013. While he was in law school, Mr. McCune served a clerkship with his current firm and also served an internship with the Butler County District Attorney's Office. He is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania state courts and the Western District of Pennsylvania.

In order to stay abreast of current developments in his field of practice and to forge connections with fellow members of the bar, Mr. McCune is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations. He is a member of the Butler County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, having previously served as a member of the Board of Governors.
