Focusing his practice primarily on estate planning and administration, Charles B. Hadad is an equity partner at The Lynch Law Group, LLC. Located in the firm's office in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, he provides representation to clients throughout the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area, including Washington, Butler, and Allegheny counties. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania since 2007, Mr. Hadad is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Hadad chairs the firm's estates and trusts practice group and manages the firm's Southpointe office, and he regularly prepares and reviews wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, and advance medical directives, tailoring each estate plan to the needs and goals of his client. Mr. Hadad has also assisted clients who have family members with physical or mental disabilities, and he has worked with clients on their charitable giving programs.
In his estate administration practice, Mr. Hadad has had substantial experience in will contests as well as breach of fiduciary duty actions against executors and trustees. He has helped prepare decedents' final income tax returns as well as federal estate and gift tax returns and Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax returns. Outside of the estate area, Mr. Hadad's work includes counseling entrepreneurs with respect to the most appropriate form of legal entity for their new ventures, and he thereafter prepares contracts and provides regulatory compliance advice.
Mr. Hadad is frequently asked to deliver presentations to continuing legal education attendees and other groups on topics related to estate planning and administration. He majored in both history and business administration at the University of Pittsburgh, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. His legal education was obtained at what was then known as the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor with distinction in 2006.
