As the managing partner of Rubin Glickman Steinberg and Gifford, PC, in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, since 1980, Marc Steinberg is the consummate litigator in all manner of criminal and civil cases before state and federal courts, including homicide and major criminal cases, personal injury matters and business and commercial litigation. He holds certification seven times from the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Criminal Law specialist since 1986. Mr. Steinberg practices before all Pennsylvania state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. For the past 28 years, he has served as a Discovery Master for the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County.
Throughout his career, Mr. Steinberg has represented many people accused of crimes and has obtained acquittals or the dismissal of charges in every type of criminal case, including murder, rape, drugs and sex offenses. He has secured multiple seven-figure results on behalf of clients in the Greater Philadelphia area in wrongful death, malpractice and personal injury cases. He often serves as a Mediator and Arbitrator in all types of cases civil cases.
Mr. Steinberg received his Juris Doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1973. Over the course of the last 50 years, he has written numerous articles on various aspects of criminal and civil law, including proving damages in wrongful death claims and ethics, and taught Advanced Trial Advocacy from his law school alma mater for twenty-five years. A member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations, Mr. Steinberg has served in various capacities in each, including President of the Montgomery Bar Association in 2003. He is a co-founder and past-President of the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP). Along with many other pro bono activities, he has provided legal services to abused and neglected children in the community since 1999. He has lectured extensively on Civil and Criminal Law subjects, especially ethics in the practice of law.
