Charles V. Curley

As the principal partner of Curley & Rothman LLC, Charles V. Curley is a seasoned professional in the field of employment law. From the firm's office in suburban Philadelphia, he has successfully represented both employees and employers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey in a variety of cases involving discrimination, harassment, wage payment laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

In 1986, Mr. Curley graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in literature from American University in Washington, D.C. He then attended Villanova University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1990. After graduation, he joined a statewide law firm and rose to the level of partner before founding his current firm.

During his career, Mr. Curley has represented clients in both employment law matters and complex commercial litigation. His employment law experience includes hostile work environments, wrongful discharge, harassment, discrimination, recovery of unpaid wages, overtime claims under the FLSA, noncompete enforcement, trade secret theft, and the drafting of employee contracts and negotiation of severance packages. His commercial litigation experience includes partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance coverage disputes, breach of contract, defamation, probate disputes, collections, preliminary injunctions, and interference with contractual relations.

Admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts, Mr. Curley is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations, including the Montgomery Bar Association.
