Neal A. Jacobs is an exceptional business and litigation attorney who understands how to employ his ample knowledge of business and his legal skills to get wins for his clients.  After fifteen years with big law firms, Mr. Jacobs left to found the Jacobs Law Group in 1999.  Mr. Jacobs has a litany of accomplishments in advising and representing clients on complex corporate, business, and litigation matters. He devotes particular attention to privately held companies and their shareholder and member relations. 

In recent years, Mr. Jacobs has been asked to represent clients in generational wealth disputes involving Estates, Trusts and Beneficiaries with assets of over 100 million of dollars.

Jacobs built his reputation in the area of business divorce; family businesses, private businesses and co-owners who can’t get along. Jacobs has been frequently called on to solve deadlocks between ownership groups and to craft business-oriented solutions to joint ownership matters.

Jacobs has advised and/or worked with all sizes of clients, from small business all the way up to international clients and companies from around the world.

A frequent lecturer on business litigation topics, Jacobs has successfully litigated, arbitrated, and/or negotiated shareholder claims; buyout claims; derivative actions; freeze-outs and squeeze-outs, earn-out cases; contract claims; computer fraud cases; restrictive covenant cases; Ponzi schemes; common law fraud cases; and commercial fraud cases on all levels.

Jacobs has repeatedly won multiple multimillion-dollar awards and settlements for his clients and has represented clients in claims from under $1 million to in excess of $100 million.

In addition to his professional life as a lawyer, Mr Jacobs led a group of private equity investors in backing a technology company.  Recently the technology company had a successful liquidity event and exited from that investment.  

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in economics from Rutgers University - New Brunswick, Mr. Jacobs went on to attend Rutgers School of Law - Camden and was awarded his Juris Doctor with honors in 1984. Prior to founding Jacobs Law Group, PC, in 1999, he was an attorney at a well-known national law firm. Admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Mr. Jacobs has been admitted pro hac vice in many other states.

Mr. Jacobs is an active participant in several professional organizations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Active in the business community as well, he has served as a Director of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center and the Small Business Board of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
