Elizabeth J. Fineman

As a partner at Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, Elizabeth J. Fineman represents clients in Doylestown and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She focuses her practice on handling family law cases that involve the following matters: equitable distribution, divorce, spousal support, child support and child custody.

In 2003, Ms. Fineman earned a Bachelor of Arts in government and law and graduated cum laude from Lafayette College. She received a Juris Doctor in 2006 and a Master of Laws in 2009, from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.

A legal battle among family members can present situations that are fraught with emotional and financial challenges. Keeping that in mind, Ms. Fineman approaches every case with compassion for those involved. She understands the stress that tasks such as property division or child custody can create. Working efficiently, Ms. Fineman seeks to resolve these issues as quickly and effectively as possible, while addressing her client's current and future needs.

Ms. Fineman has significant experience with the tax implications divorce can create. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for shrewdly handling complicated matters such as business valuation. A published author and regular speaker for continuing legal education courses, Ms. Fineman is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association's Family Law Section, the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Family Law Section and the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court.  Ms. Fineman is also the co-editor of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Lawyer, serves as a delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates, serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Council, is co-chair of the Bucks County Bar Association Family Law Section and was a participant in the 2019/2020 Pennsylvania Bar Association's Bar Leadership Institute.

When not at her practice, Ms. Fineman provides pro bono legal services for the Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. She also is involved with and serves on the board of trustee of both the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and the Anti-Defamation League in Philadelphia.
