Mr. Shaughnessy is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is involved in professional organizations such as the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Northampton County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

Mr. Shaughnessy has obtained membership to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum for winning million and multimillion dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. He has been listed in the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers. Committed to serving his community, he serves on the advisory board of Karl Stirner Arts Trail and a few other nonprofits. He received the “Volunteer of the Year” award from Pennsylvania Downtown Center in 2018.
