Jo L. Theisen is a seasoned attorney with more than a decade of experience in the field of law practice. Working with the law firm of Amicangelo & Theisen, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, she focuses on serving her clients in the fields of immigration law and family law.
Graduating with her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude with double majors in dance, and world languages and cultures, Ms. Theisen attended the Case Western Reserve University School of Law to pursue her studies in law. She graduated with her J.D. in 2012, was on the dean’s list and was a teaching assistant for appellate practice. During this tenure, she also clerked at the Willoughby Municipal Court in Ohio and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Limbert at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Ms. Theisen is admitted to appear before the courts in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is trained in mediation and collaborative law and extends her services in these areas to help her clients seek solutions to their legal issues devoid of litigation.
Approaching each case with the dedication and sensitivity it deserves, Ms. Theisen has maintained a stellar reputation in the field earning her several recognitions from the legal community.
