Mr. McNair is also a member of the Workers’ Compensation and Civil Litigation Sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as member of the Admiralty, Civil Rights, Employment and Workplace Injury Sections of the American Association for Justice. Outside his legal practice, he has served as parliamentarian of the Erie County Democratic Party and committeeman of Millcreek 11th District. He is also board member and president of the Community Outreach Group, Inc., as well as Artists Incorporated.
A 1977 graduate of Allegheny College, Mr. McNair obtained his Juris Doctor in 1981 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received a university scholarship and Owens Fellowship, and he was a finalist in the school's Trial Moot Court competition. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and both the Pennsylvania and U.S. Supreme Courts.
