Marina Kats

The co-founder of Jamison & Associates, Marina Kats is an accomplished trial attorney. Her firm is located in Feasterville and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She provides representation to clients across the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Focusing her practice primarily on personal injury cases, Ms. Kats assists people who have been harmed by the negligence of others in matters involving:

Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, Ms. Kats relocated to Philadelphia in 1979. She subsequently enrolled at Temple University and received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in business administration in 1985. She then attended Temple University Beasley School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 1988. While in law school, she clerked for the Defender Association of Philadelphia. 

Ms. Kats also holds an LL.M. in trial advocacy from her alma mater, making her one of the very few women in the U.S. to hold this honor. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. Trilingual in Russian, Ukrainian and English, as well as maintaining working proficiency in Spanish, Armenian and Bosnian, she has excellent communication skills and assists a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Kats has been instrumental in obtaining sizable settlements and jury awards on behalf of her personal injury clients. Her fellow professionals have taken note, as reflected in her 10/10 peer-review rating through Avvo. Very active in her community, she has served on the board of trustees of Einstein Healthcare Network and on the board of directors of Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, a nonprofit refugee protection organization. She is a member of several legal organizations, including the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Recognized for her legal prowess and as a successful businesswoman managing several commercial projects and ventures, Ms. Kats has received many honors throughout her career. She has been named One of the 50 Best Businesswomen in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the Governor of Pennsylvania in 1997 and Woman of the Year by the Bucks County YMCA. Furthermore, she is the co-host of a weekly radio show on New World radio, and she has co-produced and co-hosted a TV show with the Honorable James DeLeon called “What Do You Think?”.
