Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, Ms. Kats relocated to Philadelphia in 1979. She subsequently enrolled at Temple University and received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in business administration in 1985. She then attended Temple University Beasley School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 1988. While in law school, she clerked for the Defender Association of Philadelphia.
Ms. Kats also holds an LL.M. in trial advocacy from her alma mater, making her one of the very few women in the U.S. to hold this honor. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. Trilingual in Russian, Ukrainian and English, as well as maintaining working proficiency in Spanish, Armenian and Bosnian, she has excellent communication skills and assists a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kats has been instrumental in obtaining sizable settlements and jury awards on behalf of her personal injury clients.
