Peer-reviewed and named Gold Client Champion through Martindale-Hubbell, Inna Materese is widely regarded as a well-thought leader and one of the leading family attorneys in Pennsylvania. Throughout her career spanning more than a decade, she has demonstrated the ability to provide sound, solution-oriented counsel on family law to her clients, encompassing high-asset divorce, protection from abuse, complex custody issues, child support, spousal support, alimony and prenuptial agreements. She is the founder of Materese Family Law, a Pennsylvania-based firm with an office in Fort Washington.

Holding a degree in public relations and political science, Ms. Materese obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2009. At the university, she was a member of the Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society and the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. She attended Temple University Beasley School of Law and secured her Juris Doctor in 2012. Her interest in mediation can be traced back to her college days, where she served as a mediator in both Philadelphia County Family Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.

Right after completing her law studies and passing her bar exam, Ms. Materese joined a prominent family law firm in the Greater Philadelphia Area. She worked in the firm for nearly two years, after which she moved to another multi-specialty firm in the same region. Here, she served as a partner in the firm’s family law division.

Recently, Ms. Materese was listed by the Best Lawyers as One to Watch and was also honored by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys with inclusion in their Top 10 Under 40 list. She is also the recipient of the 10 Best Attorneys – Exceptional and Outstanding Client Service award by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

Ms. Materese is active in the state’s legal community and is frequently seen as a presenter in various speaking engagements and conferences, sharing her knowledge and views on multiple topics, including marital settlement agreements, tax implications in divorce and drug testing in family law. She also holds memberships in professional organizations such as The Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court, the Montgomery Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
