David Hoover

David Hoover is a criminal defense attorney in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Hoover is the founder of The Hoover Firm, LLC, and represents clients in Dauphin and the surrounding counties. He has experience with criminal cases involving assault, drug charges, DUI, firearms, sex offenses, theft and traffic violations. 

Mr. Hoover has been practicing law for over 15 years. Over the course of his legal career, he has successfully defended Pennsylvania residents against a wide range of felony and misdemeanor criminal charges. He is dedicated to preparing the strongest possible defense for his clients, using his knowledge of the law and attention to detail to achieve a desirable outcome. 

As a criminal attorney, Mr. Hoover maintains a particular focus on DUI cases. He has over 100 hours of DUI training and keeps his knowledge and skills current by continuing to regularly participate in trainings, to provide the best possible defense to his DUI clients. In addition to criminal defense, he has experience with personal injury law, representing individuals injured due to negligence.

After graduating from Rider University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in political science, Mr. Hoover earned his law degree from Penn State Dickinson Law. Following law school, he passed the Pennsylvania bar examination and obtained his license to practice law before all Pennsylvania state courts.

Prior to opening The Hoover Firm, LLC, Mr. Hoover gained legal experience through different roles. He served as a law clerk in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and worked as a litigation associate at a private law firm for three years.
