He was also the lead prosecutor for the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and helped implement community programs on topics related to crimes against children, particularly in the context of technology-related crimes. He opened his own criminal defense practice in 2012.

Mr. Lesniak regularly speaks and writes on criminal-related topics. He is extremely active in his local political community and a member of his local Rotary Club. He also previously served as a solicitor of Nether Providence Township and sits on the board of directors of the Upper Darby Center for Family Safety.

In addition to serving as an adjunct professor at Pennsylvania State University, he provides pro bono services via workshops on campus to educate students about their legal rights related to alcohol, drugs and other matters. He belongs to additional professional organizations, including the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Delaware County Bar Association and the Guy G. deFuria Inn of Court.
