Marc H. Edelson

Marc H. Edelson is a partner at the law firm of Edelson Lechtzin LLP in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Serving clients nationwide with offices in Pennsylvania and California, he focuses his practice on matters involving antitrust law, defective drugs and medical devices, and property insurance litigation. For more than three decades, he also has taken on many class action cases.

Graduating cum laude, Mr. Edelson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to pursue law and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at the Los Angeles School of Law. 

Mr. Edelson has immense experience taking on many leadership roles in numerous multidistrict litigation cases involving various industries, especially the pharmaceutical industry. He is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and Pennsylvania. 

Mr. Edelson was selected by Judge Patti Saris to be one of the four lead counsels on the In re: Pharmaceutical Industry Average Wholesale Price (AWP) Litigation case. He is well-known for initiating a chain of class actions on end payors’ behalf against pharmaceutical defendants, which were merged with the AWP Litigation case. Through this case, he was able to successfully obtain a settlement of more than $341 million. 

Additionally, Mr. Edelson has worked as lead or co-lead counsel on many class action cases involving consumer fraud and defective products. For his exceptional work in the legal field, he has received several positive reviews from his happy clients.
