Partner at Martin Law LLC, Amit J. Shah represents clients in workers’ compensation cases throughout the eastern Pennsylvania area and is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. With almost 15 years of experience, he devotes all his practice to litigation and is certified by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Law section as a specialist, authorized under the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Mr. Shah was named by Suburban Life Magazine as an Awesome Attorney 2012–2013 and one of the Best Lawyers in America for 2019-2020. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001, then attended the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University and obtained a Juris Doctor in 2004. While in law school, he was a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Sub-Committee.
Recently appointed to the Lawyer Referral and Information Services Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Mr. Shah is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Audio and Video Depositions Sub-Committee and is a past co-chair of the workers’ compensation section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He has handled hundreds of workers’ compensation cases throughout his career and spoke on the topic at a Continuing Legal Education program in 2011.
