Meyer is the managing shareholder at the domestic relations firm, Hofstein Meyer Rocco Finger & Weiner, P.C.  For more than 35 years, he has represented clients in all aspects of family law, including negotiations leading to prenuptial, postnuptial and co-habitation agreements, and the investigation and litigation of the financial and economic issues related to the dissolution of marriage, including child support, equitable distribution and alimony. Although he represents individuals in both routine and complex matters, his clients include high net worth individuals, professional athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and their spouses.

A native of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Charlie received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Temple University, and his J.D. from Temple University School of Law. Following law school, he served in the office of the District Attorney of New York County (Manhattan).  Since leaving the district attorney’s office, Mr. Meyer has limited his practice to family law.

Recognized for his negotiation skills and advocacy, he has received the highest rating from Martindale Hubbell (AV) and has been selected as a SuperLawyer since the inception of the program.  Charlie is named in Best Lawyers in America.

A fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1997, Charlie  presently serves on the Board of Governors of the Academy.  He formerly was the Co-Chair of the National Test Committee, and is a Past-President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Academy.

The ACFTL was formed in 1993 to bring together some of the best trial lawyers in America practicing sophisticated and complex family law and matrimonial matters. Diplomates, all members of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, are chosen based upon their recognized litigation skills and courtroom abilities.

Charlie is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, having served as a council member of the Family Law Section, and the Montgomery Bar Association, where he served as a director (2010 - 2013).  Charlie also previously served as a hearing officer for the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board.
